Cleaning Vertical Blinds is an easy task but does need to be done frequently. As with most blinds, Vertical Blinds attract a lot of dust. This can be easily removed with a feather duster to keep your blinds looking like new.

Simply pull the blinds closed and tilt the louvers so you are able to see out of the blind. Using a feather duster gently run down all slats on both sides to remove any static dust. It is also advised that the top head rail is dusted too, as these areas are prone to dust and cobwebs.

If the Vertical Blinds do become marked or stained, it may be possible to clean the louvers by using a damp cloth and blind cleaning fluid, please refer to cleaning fluid instructions before use. Some vertical blind fabrics are machine washable but this does vary from fabric to fabric.

Over time unavoidably Vertical Blinds do loose their colour. If the head rail is still in good working order it may be possible to replace the fabric slats (louvers).  Please contact us HERE for a competitive quote.
